Refrigeration Workforce Development and CO2 Training w/ NASRC

Lets Get Conversation Going

We had a great conversation with Morgan Smith and Danielle Wright from North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC) They are all about workforce development and helping the refrigeration industry.  The North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC) is a 501(c)(3) environmental nonprofit working to advance climate-friendly natural refrigerants and reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by traditional HFC refrigerants. The organization collaborates with stakeholders from across the industry, including over 51,000 food retail locations, to eliminate the barriers to natural refrigerants in supermarkets, accelerate natural refrigerant installations, and build a sustainable technician workforce.

Topics we will discuss:
馃憠NASRCs work with retailers on state regulations and the general regulatory landscape as a driver for natural refrigerants
馃憠NASRCs work developing funding mechanisms for natural refrigerants
馃憠NASRCs workforce development initiative, our report findings, our training event.
